Coronado Steel produces patterns in-house, blending traditional foundry craftsmanship with modern technology such as 3D printing and 5-axis CNC routers. This combination of experience and innovation allows us to build and modify wood, plastic, and composite patterns with greater precision and faster turnaround times.

For prototypes and short-run castings, we can 3D print sand molds and cores directly, removing the need for hard tooling. This flexibility enables a seamless transition from concept to pour in days, while maintaining high dimensional accuracy and surface finish quality.

Our in-house patternmaking capability shortens lead times, minimizes rework, and keeps the entire process—from design to finished casting—under one roof.
